As many of you fellow Strackians know, I have taken a long hiatus from this wonderful game called Golf! Even though, I have been in my backyard with my wedges and such, It is still not the same as being on the course. So whats a high handicap golfer to do? well, the best answer that I can give is: To regroup, Accept the fact that my swing wont be the same and to get the all important lessons, So I have, I had my first lesson this past week, My instructor is a graduate of The Golf Academy of the South, which was founded by Harvey Penick, and WOW, I found out one of the biggest problems with my swing, "I was more tensed that a wound up spring!" But also, since I still have limited range with my right arm and shoulder, my instructor is showing me how to swing within my current range and get good distance. Nikemojo, |

You're on your way...loose as a goose and ready to strike em' pure.
I used to be stiff as a board in the arms and hands, you just can't do anything stiff like that. Keep me posted on your progress. |
