Okay. The majors, fedex cup, and stracka fantasy golf are over. How ever there are still some interesting events remaining this year. Tuesday and Wednesday cabrera, glover, cink, and yang face off in the grand slam of golf. Many players are fighting for their cards next year in the fall series, the lpga, and champions tour finish off the ADT championship and schawb cup, the race to dubai will wrap up in a month, the new WGC event, the HSBC Champonship starts, and tiger hosts the chevron bank. What are you most looking forward to, and am i forgetting anything?

Well for the most part today will probably be the last after work weekday of golf in Oregon this year. We are expecting showers for what is remaining of the week. With the clocks turning back it will be too dark. Let's root GO Ducks this weekend against USC. It's time for fireplaces and family with the holidays coming up. The World Series is starting up, yay 6-1 Phillies. Football, Hockey and, well, OK, Basketball I guess. Forget that , I'm not watching basketball until the Final Four in March. Dog wants to go for a walk now. Happy Halloween.

Now that the Nationwide Tour has 25 Graduates to the Big Show, I'm looking forward to watching the FINAL stage of Q-school! I believe this year it takes place in Florida. There are always GREAT stories that come out of Q-school...I'm also looking forward to the LPGA Tour Championship taking place in Houston. Time will only tell which is the correct direction the LPGA is going under a NEW Commissioner, lost so many sponsors & tournaments the past 2 years.

I'm looking forward to playing golf in Vegas after Christmas. By the way does anyone have suggestions for courses 100.00 and less in the Vegas area?

Once golf is done for the year, the NHL season is the only thing on my plate. That and many a spiced rum and egg nog at Christmas!

I'm reading several books, Haney, Pelz, Parent... I'm working through my entire swing over the winter months and hope to finally make it "mine." I realize that I didn't really know jack about mechanics, cause and effect, and why inconsistency has always taken its toll on my game. I used to really hate winter, and I don't use that word lightly. I've come to understand more of the Yin and Yang of life and realize that if not for fall and winter, there could be no spring and summer. I've got my cold gear this year so I can practice on any day that's not a total white out.

I am looking forward to really getting in golf shape for next year. This winter I have signed up for Farrell's Extreme Body Shaping. Its 6 days a week for an hour a day...kick boxing, bands etc... Its a 10 week program and I have buddies who have done it and lost 30 pounds. Now I won't lose 30 pounds, because quite frankly I might not have 30 to give...but I am sure I have 20-25 pounds.

By Spring I should be in better shape than anytime in my last 15 years.

I know this was posted in 09', as far as 10', just continue to have a good time with my golfing friends and try and play pain free. Might have to do a weekend get away to World Woods in Brooksville, FL. or perhaps a trip up to Sawgrass before the years up--Happy swinging fellow members~
