Hole in one playing wolf
Posted on: 9/22/2009 by BHUITT
It was a late Texas summer evening in 2003 and I was playing wolf late one afternoon with 7 guys in our group. It was my turn on a 172 yd par 3 slightly downhill downwind - 9 iron fit the bill. We had a pretty sizable pot going and I hit last. It was a perfect swing so I held the pose and somebody said "so who do you pick?". Funny thing was nobody saw the result because it was into the sun. Divot was a few inches from hole, ball in cup. I could have won about $400 for that one hole, but wound up with $82 and had to buy drinks.
