What is the puropose of a Golf Club?
Section 2 of the USGA Handicap System defines a golf club as follows:
A "golf club" is an organization of at least ten individual members that operates under bylaws with committees (including a Handicap Committee) to supervise golf activities, provide peer review, and maintain the integrity of the USGA Handicap SystemTM. A golf club must be licensed by the USGA® to utilize the USGA Handicap System.What can you do in a golf club?
Establish an Official USGA Handicap Index®
Manage and maintain a golf club that is compliant with USGA® rules
Review scores and handicaps of all members
Compare member statistics
Exports statistics to excel for further analysis
Generate course handicaps for all members
Upload photos and files related to golf club
Create and maintain a calendar related to the golf club
Communicate with other members of the golf club
Create tournaments
